1. Who We Are
Hustle IQ ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at skillsbridge.io and the AI-powered side hustle plan generator available at skillsbridge.io/side-hustle. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our site, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Email address — optionally entered before checkout. We pass this to Stripe so they can send your payment receipt and pre-fill the checkout form. We do not store your email independently of Stripe.
- Skills, goals, and form answers — entered on the side hustle generator. These are used solely to generate your plan and are stored temporarily (associated with your payment session) so you can return to your results. We do not sell or share this content.
Payment information
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We receive a payment confirmation and, if you provided one, your email address.
Automatically collected information
- Analytics data — page views, session duration, and custom events (e.g., plan generated, plan copied) collected via Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4). This data is aggregated and anonymized; we use it to understand how the product is used and improve it.
- UTM parameters — marketing source tags in URLs (e.g.,
?utm_source=tiktok) are stored in your browser's localStorage so we can understand which channels drive paid users. These are not tied to your identity. - Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and request timestamps logged automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel). Retained per Vercel's standard log retention policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Generate and deliver your personalized side hustle plan
- Process your payment through Stripe
- Send your payment receipt (via Stripe, using the email you provided)
- Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- Measure which marketing channels are effective
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not use your information to train AI models, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
Stripe
Payment processing. Stripe may collect your card details, billing address, and device information. See stripe.com/privacy.
Vercel
Hosting and analytics. Vercel collects anonymized usage data. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Google Analytics (GA4)
Traffic analytics. Google may use cookies to track sessions. See policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Anthropic (Claude AI)
We use Anthropic's API to generate your plan. Your form answers are sent to Anthropic's API for this purpose. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models by default. See anthropic.com/privacy.
If you choose to connect your Pinterest account to Hustle IQ, we request limited access to your public boards and pins to power personalized content recommendations within the app. We do not post to your Pinterest account without your explicit action, and we do not sell or share your Pinterest data with third parties. You can disconnect Pinterest access at any time from your account settings or directly through Pinterest's app permissions page. Data retrieved via the Pinterest API is used solely to improve your in-app experience and is not used for advertising or resold to any party.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to temporarily store:
- Your form answers, so your progress is preserved if you navigate away
- Your generated plan, so you can return to it after payment
- UTM attribution parameters, to measure marketing effectiveness
This data never leaves your browser except as described above. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for skillsbridge.io.
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish sessions. You can disable these using your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
6. Data Retention
Generated plans are retained in our database associated with your Stripe session ID for up to 90 days so you can re-access your results. After 90 days, plan content is deleted. Stripe retains payment records per their own retention policies. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of analytics tracking
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@skillsbridge.io. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Hustle IQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, contact us at privacy@skillsbridge.io and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
